Andrew Dipper founded Dipper Restorations in London, England in 1975 and relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1990, joining Claire Givens Violins, Inc. as Vice President of the company. Dipper Restorations specializes in the restoring, conserving, and building of historical musical instruments and bows. Andrew Dipper’s exemplary work can be found in museums and private and public collections across the world including the Metropolitan Museum in New York; the Federal Musical Instrument Museum of Berlin; the National Music Museum, Vermillion, South Dakota; and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
Rachell Wong earned her Masters in Music in Historical Performance from the Julliard School in New York City In 2020 she was the first-ever Baroque recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant.
She also was the Grand Prize winner of the inaugural Lillian and Maurice Barbash J.S. Bach Competition. Ms. Wong is a highly sought-after collaborator, making appearances with the American Bach Soloists and the Academy of Ancient Music, touring with the Bach Collegium Japan and Les Arts Florissants.
She performs on a Baroque violin from the school of Joachim Tielke restored by Andrew Dipper and a Dipper Stradivari model bow.
